    Description

    CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an individual who will support missions of the National Guard Bureau (NGB) J8. The analyst will possess understanding of DoW, Service, and/or Joint processes (e.g. the Joint Force Requirements Process) and experience on a senior military staff. The employee owner will support processes that identify, formulate recommendations, and validate National Guard capability requirements and gaps.  He or she will participate in analysis and formulation of advice and assist in preparation and presentation of reports, briefings, and project deliverables. This is an in-place position with opportunity for limited situational telework.

     

    Tasks may include:

    ·     Support execution of the National Guard Requirements Oversight Council (NGROC) process, development, update, and staffing of associated issuances, and the development and staffing of NGROC documents.

    ·     Supporting analysis, coordination, and planning to develop and shape solutions to issues involving NGB capability gaps and presentations to senior leaders.

    ·     Collaborate with staff across the NGB JS and DoW to develop or maintain relationships that aid in situational awareness and knowledge of NGB missions and anticipate requirements in support of NGB senior leaders.

    ·     Assist in assessing issues, providing timely information, and developing recommendations for NGB leaders in support of their participation in senior leader forums.

    ·     Support developing and responding to formal staffing actions in ETMS2. Assist in developing, staffing, and finalizing NGB senior leader correspondence and written military advice.

    ·     Participate in weekly meetings as Team Lead and contribute to Weekly and Monthly Status Reports. 

    Required Skills

    ·     U.S. Citizen

    ·     Current Top Secret clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

    ·     Must possess proven analytical and strong organizational skills.

    ·     Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task across concurrent initiatives.

    ·     Exceptional verbal and written communication and organization skills.

    ·     Proficiency with groupware applications (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint., etc.).

    ·     Must be able to travel.

     

    Preferred Skills:

    ·     Proficiency in DOD tasking systems (e. g. ETMS2).

    ·     Proficiency in KM/DS.

     

    required Experience

    ·     4 – 6 years of experience working within the senior defense organizations in the Pentagon (Services, Reserve Components, Joint Staff, National Guard Bureau Joint Staff, OSW, and experience interacting with senior officials.

    ·     Demonstrated experience in areas related to capabilities and requirements development highly preferred.

    ·     Experience working with the State NG-JFHQs, NGB ARNG, NGB ANG and/or NGB JS preferred.

     

    Education:

    ·     Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Master’s Degree preferred.

    ·     Graduate of CGSC or ILE if former military officer, commensurate Professional Military Education if former military Warrant, Enlisted or Civil Service.
