Request for Letters of Interest: Board of Directors Vacancy

The College of Menominee Nation Board of Directors is accepting letters of interest to serve on the Board of Directors to fulfill a recently vacated term, which ends May 15th, 2028. Anyone interested in serving on the College of the Menominee Nation Board of Directors, please submit a letter of interest by mail to:

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT AS BOARD MEMBER ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • A demonstrated long-term interest in education and/or job training.
  • Enrollment in the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.
  • General knowledge about post-secondary education.
  • Special expertise which will help the Board of Directors, the President and the President's staff fulfill the mission of the college.
  • Twenty-five years of age except in the instance where the Legislature chooses to appoint the President of the Student Council of the College to the Board of Directors.

Each candidate for a position on the Board of Directors shall submit to the Board of Directors a written statement which demonstrates individual qualifications for the position.

The College of Menominee Nation Board of Directors shall give due and proper consideration to the candidate's qualifications. Candidates applying for the position will be given proper notice of the selection.

This position will fill the remainder of a vacated term ending in May 2028. The appointment will be made by the College of Menominee Nation Board of Directors at its regular meeting on June 22nd, 2026.
