Overview
Job Summary
Serves as Hospital concierge while supporting the safety and security services to all patients, visitors and staff. Handles all telephone calls and walk-up requests for designated area. Supports programs of Guest Services to include facilitating guest transportation, maintaining wheelchairs stock in lobby and directing complaints/questions to appropriate personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.Responsibilities
- Answers telephones and greets customers using customer service techniques to promote positive image of organization.
- Serves as Hospital concierge while supporting the safety and security services to all patients, visitors and staff.
- Monitors services and supplies for accuracy and effectiveness, maintaining reports and departmental documentation.
- Assist with orientation of new volunteers.
- Completes assigned goals.
Specifications
Experience
Minimum Required
- 1 year general office, customer service or experience in a health care setting.
Preferred/Desired
- 3 years general office or customer service-related experience.
Education
Minimum Required
- Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
