- Practitioner Responsibilities: As an independent business owner operating under the 1099-NEC standard, state licensing fees and platform access fees are the responsibility of the practitioner. GoTo Telemed utilizes a highly transparent, single $890 annual investment that covers all platform access, services, and ongoing support, with absolutely no hidden fees or per-visit charges.
- Income Potential: PMHNPs generate consistent revenue with reimbursements based on national UCR rates. As independent practitioners in most states, NPs enjoy full clinical autonomy and physician-level reimbursement opportunities for many services.
Key Clinical & Operational Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Psychiatric Care: Independently manage a virtual patient panel, providing comprehensive mental health evaluations, addiction care, and continuous therapeutic management with full autonomy.
- Secure E-Prescribing: Utilize secure e-prescription functionality integrated with major pharmacy networks for seamless behavioral health medication management.
- Interprofessional Collaboration: Participate in an integrated, whole-person care model alongside medical, dental, and vision providers. You will provide cross-specialty consultations and accept referrals from other network providers to address the mental health components of physical conditions.

Requirements
Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Proven expertise in providing mental health care, telepsychiatry, behavioral health interventions, and addiction management.
Willingness to operate effectively as an independent 1099-NEC contractor, acknowledging standard business responsibilities including platform investments.
