REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
This is an internal strategic communications consulting role that will lead external communications for a population health management project. The role will be focused on a large engagement for the state of California and will oversee day-to-day execution support through management of a Strategic Communications Associate.

Your role in our mission
Develops strategic communications plans to external stakeholders, including audiences, forums, timing, and value statements
Understands population health management product value to managed care plans (MCPs) and behavioral health plans (BHPs) and develops communications to support their adoption
Recommends and drafts communications to external stakeholders, including release notifications, newsletters, and
Develops content for the public population health management website and collaborates with web development team on website updates
Recommends forums and content to reach specific audiences to drive adoption. Develops and facilitates content accordingly
Collaborates to prepare materials for conferences and other external presentations
Manages review cycles, incorporates and integrates feedback from diverse stakeholders, and supports delivery of materials in a timely manner.
Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential communications needs.
Manages and mentors a Strategic Communications Associate to support execution, tracking, and delivery of communications workstreams
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master's degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) with focus in health care policy or health care management preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strategic communications or marketing experience within healthcare, managed care, or consulting organizations. Experience working with and communicating to MCPs and BHPs preferred
Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to all audiences.
Ability to identify and communicate efficiently the different components of an analysis or conceptual structure of a problem or situation.
Experience with tracking and executing deliverables at complex organizations
Ability to take initiative and drive execution with minimal supervision.
Ability to use Microsoft Suite programs.
