Pharmacy Tech I – Prior Authorization Compensation: pay $20.00/hr ; benefits after 90 days; 401(k) match after 1 year (eligibility dates)

Pharmacy Tech I – Prior Authorization Highlights: contract w/ potential perm based on attendance/performance/business needs; required availability:

• Training: 07/13/2026 – 08/31/2026 , 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST , Monday–Friday ( no time off permitted during training )
• After training: standard 8.5-hour workday ; permanent schedule determined by business needs
• Remote: candidate can be located anywhere in the US, but must be OK working CST hours

Pharmacy Tech I – Prior Authorization Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, etc.
• Provide professional and courteous phone support through the criteria-based prior authorization process
• Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of reviews
• Transfer clinical questions/escalations/judgment calls to the pharmacist team

Pharmacy Tech I – Prior Authorization Requirements: High School Diploma/GED; attendance mandatory first 90 days

• Ability to work effectively in a remote / work-from-home environment
• Must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace away from distractions (separate workspace, no interruptions)
• Wired internet meeting 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload minimum
• Ability to sit and focus for the duration of the shift without interruptions
• Ability to provide: internet speed screenshot and license screenshot

Pharmacy Tech I – Prior Authorization Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with prior authorizations and/or pharmacy help desk / call center support
• Strong documentation skills and comfort handling escalations appropriately
