We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced full-stack engineering professionals with strong backgrounds in frontend development, backend systems, API design, database architecture, and modern web application engineering.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on full-stack engineering evaluation, technical scenario review, application architecture, frontend and backend workflows, and production-grade software development practices. Selected professionals may apply experience across user-facing applications, server-side systems, databases, integrations, product logic, and scalable web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Frontend Development & User Interface Review

• Review frontend engineering tasks involving React, Angular, Vue, or comparable modern JavaScript frameworks
• Assess component structure, state management, routing, user interface behaviour, accessibility, and frontend performance
• Evaluate user-facing implementation choices for clarity, maintainability, responsiveness, and practical product fit
• Provide structured feedback on frontend architecture, interaction logic, and application usability

Backend Development & API Architecture

• Review backend engineering scenarios involving Node.js, Django, Spring, or comparable server-side frameworks
• Assess API design, service logic, authentication flows, data handling, integration patterns, and backend maintainability
• Evaluate REST, GraphQL, RPC, or comparable API approaches for correctness, scalability, and production-readiness
• Identify gaps, unclear assumptions, or weak implementation choices in backend workflows and technical scenarios

Databases & Application Data Flow

• Review relational and NoSQL database scenarios involving schema design, query patterns, indexing, transactions, and data modelling
• Evaluate how frontend, backend, and database layers interact across real-world application workflows
• Assess trade-offs related to performance, consistency, caching, storage design, and maintainability
• Provide feedback on database architecture and full-stack data flow based on hands-on engineering experience

Full-Stack Architecture & Technical Scenario Review

• Support the development, review, or refinement of full-stack engineering tasks and technical deliverables
• Evaluate complete application workflows from user interface to backend services and data persistence
• Provide clear explanations and feedback based on practical software engineering judgment
• Help ensure outputs reflect real-world full-stack development standards and production application expectations

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

• Professional experience in Full-Stack Engineering, Software Engineering, Web Application Development, Product Engineering, or related technical roles
• Hands-on experience building frontend applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and integrated web platforms
• Strong familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or comparable technologies
• Experience with backend frameworks or environments such as Node.js, Django, Flask, Spring, Ruby on Rails, .NET, or similar tools
• Practical knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, application architecture, authentication, deployment workflows, and service integration
• Ability to evaluate technical workflows, identify practical issues, and explain engineering reasoning clearly
• Strong written communication skills and comfort working independently in a remote, project-based environment

Educational Background

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is helpful
• Equivalent professional experience in full-stack development, web application engineering, software architecture, or production software development is also highly relevant

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Express, NestJS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Prisma, GraphQL, or comparable technologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architecture, or deployment automation
• Background in product engineering, SaaS platforms, design systems, distributed applications, or high-traffic web products
• Experience creating technical documentation, evaluating engineering tasks, mentoring developers, or reviewing software architecture

Contract Details

• Independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote and flexible scheduling
• Part-time, project-based availability
• Expected commitment may vary by project, with many opportunities ranging from approximately 15–30 hours per week
• Competitive hourly compensation in the range of $60–$120/hour, depending on project scope, experience, and fit
• Payments are made weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered
• Projects may be extended, shortened, adjusted, or concluded based on project needs and performance
• Candidates requiring H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship support are not eligible at this time
• Work must not involve sharing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
