Overview
Join ENERCON as an Electrical Engineer! Our Federal Services Group is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join the team. Our team supports our federal clients to solve a wide range of critical engineering problems. Our work covers both nuclear and non-nuclear facilities as well as facility-related infrastructure. Services range from full-scale design of new or replacement facilities to life cycle management to maximize their useful life and availability to assisting with the decommissioning of facilities that have reached the end of their useful life.
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll drive innovation, lead cross-disciplinary collaboration, and guide projects from design to successful field execution. With a focus on excellence and teamwork, you'll solve complex challenges and inspire your team to achieve outstanding results.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
Professional Engineering License
Minimum 10 years of experience with design of electrical systems including, but not limited to:
Preparing engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings and engineering reports
Applying electrical engineering expertise to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and components
Producing procurement specifications and construction specifications (electrical sections)
Attending project meetings and perform field walkdowns
Mentoring junior engineers
Experience working on DOE federal projects
Good writing, presentation and communication skills
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
Proficient in Word and Excel
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation Range
USD $145,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
