DHF Capital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Accounting Clerk Intern to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on accounting experience in a fully remote, professional environment.
You’ll support day-to-day financial operations while learning industry tools and best practices in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data and records
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements, transactions, and invoices
- Organize and maintain financial documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software for tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with team members using remote communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom)
- Perform additional administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred:
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Previous internship, coursework, or bookkeeping experience
