We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support our client by driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in performance improvement systems, Lean methodologies, and reliability initiatives, helping deliver improvements in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost through a data-driven approach.

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (W2)
Hourly Rate: $75–$85 per hour. Compensation is negotiable and will be based on the candidate’s experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as Kaizen, SMED, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, and Centerlining.
  • Develop, track, and analyze KPIs including OEE, Yield, efficiency, and waste metrics.
  • Support CAPEX justification through financial analysis and project quantification.
  • Drive implementation of digital manufacturing and Operational Excellence tools.
  • Coach and mentor site teams on Lean methodologies, Leader Standard Work (LSW), and best practices.
  • Conduct daily Gemba walks to identify safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute productivity and reliability projects.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, Data Integrity, ALCOA, QMS, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements.
 
Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree and/or 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required.
  • Solid experience with TPM, WCM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar Operational Excellence systems.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Supply Chain and manufacturing operations background preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, Power BI, and OEE data collection systems.
  • 3+ years in FMCG manufacturing preferred
