They are a liaison between financial professionals and insurance carriers.Primary ResponsibilitiesEfficiently manage the submission of insurance applications to the appropriate carrier.Monitor case progress, track down requirements and provide ongoing status updates.Review application information, including medical history, to proactively identify any issues that could present a problem; if necessary, research and present alternative solutions.Advocate and negotiate with insurance carriers on formal offers, as needed.Educate the latest product offerings, industry developments and, in turn, educate advisors on those situations to help create new business opportunities.Continuously look for ways to expedite and improve our processes and service.Communicate via email and phone to advisors in conjunction with supporting their various cases and service needs.Maintain positive relationships with your agents and underwriters to ensure a positive experience.Utilize web‑based Agency Management System (AMS) to document, organize, manage, and transmit documents.Have a sense of urgency without losing attention to detail, and the ability to multi‑task.Talents & AbilitiesPositive attitude, team spiritStrong communication and customer service skillsWillingness to take initiative, exhibit creative thinking and take ownership of a situationNegotiation skills to influence successful outcomesComfortable and confident in a fast‑paced customer service environmentStrong phone and computer skills – specifically Microsoft Excel and Word – with the ability to quickly learn internal and carrier softwareEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree ORAssociate degree with 1–2 years relevant experience ORMinimum of three years of business experience with a focus in finance, insurance, or medical terminologyIntegrity is one of the nation's leading independent distributors of life, health and wealth insurance products.
