Role description

Job Title: Specialist - Business Analysis

Role Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in requirements management stakeholder engagement and reinsurance domain knowledge.
  • The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business and technology teams ensuring high-quality requirement delivery and supporting end-to-end solution implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements elicitation analysis documentation and validation activities across stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories acceptance criteria and functional specifications
  • Perform As Is To Be analysis gap analysis and impact analysis
  • Define and document business rules validation rules and ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Develop process maps workflows and business process documentation
  • Create high-quality artifacts using MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise standards and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders SMEs product owners and technical teams
  • Facilitate workshops requirement walkthroughs and solution discussions
  • Communicate complex requirements clearly across both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Work with BA tools such as JIRA Confluence Azure DevOps any or multiple
  • Maintain user stories backlog and sprint artifacts
  • Support UAT by reviewing test cases assisting in defect triage and validating outcomes
  • Ensure release readiness through requirement traceability and completeness
  • Work closely with QA and business teams during testing cycles

Primary Skills (Must Have):

  • Requirements elicitation analysis and documentation
  • User story writing and acceptance criteria definition
  • Process mapping and business workflows
  • Gap analysis and impact analysis
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and communication
  • Handson experience with JIRA Confluence Azure DevOps
  • Strong documentation skills using MS Office Suite
  • Experience supporting UAT defect triage and release cycles
  • Ability to define business and validation rules
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst in Reinsurance domain
  • Understand reinsurance processes such as treaties and facultative arrangements

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for this onsite role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Soft skills Other Requirements

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of functional tracks
  • Comfortable working in fast paced multistakeholder environments

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
