How you'll make an impact in this role:Execute Strategic Claims Recovery by spearheading the appeals process for denied or underpaid claims to ensure the practice receives maximum allowable reimbursement.
Direct Revenue Cycle Integrity by managing patient account collections and resolving outstanding balances with professionalism and persistence.
Orchestrate Clinical Documentation Flow by facilitating medical records requests and ensuring all documentation is processed accurately for insurance verification and audit purposes.
Serve as a Financial Counselor by providing compassionate, expert guidance to patients regarding their financial obligations, payment plans, and insurance coverage.
Manage Insurance Liability & Refunds by meticulously auditing accounts for overpayments and processing insurance refunds in strict compliance with departmental policies.
Leverage Regulatory Expertise by maintaining a deep, working knowledge of Medicaid guidelines and private insurance policies to navigate complex billing landscapes effectively
Education:
A minimum of 2 years of direct experience within a medical office billing or revenue cycle environment
