Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Setting: Nursing Home, Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Sadie G Mays Health & Rehabilitation Center - Atlanta, GA

Duties:

Primary Contact for Customer

Engaged and Attending Customer Meetings
Administrative Support for the Department
Ensuring Collaboration with Facility Departments
Examples:
*Attend Daily Morning Meeting to represent therapy
*Weekly MDS meeting, sharing of information from therapists on current patients
*Clerical Duties/Filing
*Planning of Minutes/Scheduling Therapists
*Distribute Forms to facility team members
*Pull Reports for Therapists
*Fax VA requests

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred
