Qualifications

Education

SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program
PT: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (based on graduation year requirements)
OT: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy (based on graduation year requirements)
Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as a PT, OT, or SLP (required)
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Experience in rehabilitation services or hospital-based therapy settings preferred
Licensure & Certification

Active or eligible PT/OT/SLP license in Indiana (required)
Must obtain licensure within 90 days if not currently active in state
SLPs must hold ASHA CCC certification
CPR certification required or must be obtained within 90 days
APTA/AOTA/ASHA membership preferred
Additional Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; 100 lbs with assistance
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Valid driver’s license required if driving a company vehicle
Proof of insurance required if using personal vehicle for work-related duties

4. If SLP, do you hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA?
5. What is your highest level of education (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate) in your clinical field?
6. Are you willing to obtain state licensure within 90 days of employment if not currently licensed in Indiana?
7. Are you certified in CPR, or willing to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment?
8. Do you have experience with departmental operations, staffing schedules, or workflow supervision in a rehab setting?
9. Are you comfortable working full-time, Monday–Friday, day shift?

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the rehabilitation therapy department
• Support manager/director in personnel management and departmental initiatives
• Oversee scheduling, staffing workflows, and assignment of duties
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, accreditation, and licensure requirements
• Assist in development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Monitor program performance and contribute to service line growth and innovation
• Maintain strong understanding of therapy workflows across PT, OT, and SLP services
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and high-quality patient outcomes
• Support financial and operational stability of the department
