Job Summary and QualificationsThe Rehabilitation Technician accepts direction from the Physical or Occupational Therapist, to perform specified patient care activities that are within the scope of the individual's knowledge and training such as: Transporting patients Assisting with transfer of patients within the work area such as from chair to mat, from machine A to machine B, etc. Prepares supplies for wound dressings Prepares hot/cold packs Other patient care duties directed by PT, PTA, OT or COTA Performs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance functions that assist in departmental operations, including organization/inventorying of equipment, ordering supplies, preparation of treatment areas, and general cleaning duties.
