QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates will have experience/familiarity in most of the following areas:

  • LNG facility designs, 
  • NFPA 59A, FERC, DOT PHMSA, and USCG requirements, 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, 
  • Ability to multi-task across different projects and manage time and schedule commitments, and 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
  • Minimum of 10 years related work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will be able to excel in a team environment. The team will look to you for assistance with regulatory compliance for FERC, DOT PHMSA, and USCG jurisdictional facilities, along with State AHJ compliance and development of regulatory solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a BS or higher degree in engineering. 

 

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities include: 

  • Assisting project developers by developing feasibility studies to help define regulatory requirements and solutions for LNG or related industry projects in their early stages, 
  • Communicating effectively in verbal and written form with clients and teammates, 
  • Developing pre-FEED deliverables and FEED deliverables which meet the requirements of NFPA 59A and other applicable codes and standards, 
  • Assisting projects through permitting and regulatory processes (including FERC, DOT PHMSA, USCG, and State AHJs), 
  • Assisting with the development of EPC bid packages and evaluating EPC bids to assist developers in selecting EPC Contractors, 
  • Providing regulatory compliance engineering services as Owner’s Engineer reviewing EPC Contractor engineering deliverables in the detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning/start-up phases, 
  • Participating in HAZOP, LOPA and other regulatory required studies, 
  • Supporting regulatory compliance audits, and 
  • Ability to travel by car, train, or plane to client work sites when necessary. Travel requirements will vary from client to client and project to project.
