You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Job Summary and QualificationsThis position is responsible for assuring survey readiness at Mission Hospital. Responsibility includes working with staff at all levels in the organization and continuously evaluating and improving processes to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance as defined by the Joint Commission and CMS standards. The Regulatory Coordinator will learn and perform additional duties within the Quality Management department that may assist with critical needs, staff shortages or holiday coverage. The position participates in providing patient specific care standards as directed, and follows service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction. Essential Accountabilities: Coordinate, direct, and support regulatory survey activities. Develop and implement a continuous regulatory compliance programEnsure compliance with the applicable evidence based standards. Quality Improvement methodologies to facilitate improvement initiatives. What qualifications you will need:Required Education: Associate Degree or higher level educationPreferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
