Background supporting industrial chemical products and formulations Regulatory Affairs Specialist OverviewThe Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for ensuring products, raw materials, and related documentation remain compliant with applicable federal, state, regional, and local regulatory requirementsThis role supports regulatory compliance activities related to industrial chemical products, including preparation and maintenance of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), product labeling, and hazard communication documentationThe specialist will assess chemical materials and formulations to ensure health, safety, transportation, handling, and disposal considerations are properly addressed while supporting overall business objectives and customer requirementsThe position requires ongoing review and interpretation of evolving regulatory and toxicological information to maintain compliance standards and minimize regulatory riskThe ideal candidate will have experience working in industrial chemical regulatory environments, possess strong project management and communication skills, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingStrong collaboration with internal business teams is required to ensure accurate documentation, timely regulatory support, and compliance with applicable safety and environmental standards.Job Duties Prepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and label warning statements in compliance with applicable regulations Ensure products and raw materials comply with federal, state, regional, and local regulatory requirements Provide assessments of chemical materials and formulations regarding: Health and safety, Transportation, and Disposal considerations.
