    Description

    Responsible for the operations of the contractor, payroll, surveys, class, special events, and camp areas in the Community Activity Center. Provides high quality customer service to all guests and assists with administrative tasks that are necessary for the operation of the Community Activity Center.

    Examples of Duties

    • Assist with facility coverage and supervision of part time and seasonal staff at the front desk, childcare, day camp, specialty camps, and birthday parties.
    • Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks necessary for the operation of the Community Activity Center.
    • Provides high quality customer service and communicates with guests regarding account issues, payments, memberships, and program enrollment.
    • Assists with recreation software to enter memberships, process refunds, enter classes, and run reports.
    • Assists with organizing all facility rentals, locker rentals, and birthday parties including phone calls, tours, booking, staffing, and event follow up.
    • Organizes and implements programs and one day special events for various age groups.
    • Assists with marketing efforts associated with memberships, recreational programs, and special events.
    • Assists with monitoring and maintaining inventory, distribution, control, and ordering of recreational supplies.
    • Supports other areas within the Community Activity Center by assisting with special events, aquatic programs, facility rentals, and facility coverage.
    • Assists in training and development of part time staff.
    • Attends mandatory training and in-service meetings.
    • Informs supervisor of all work-related activities.
    • Recommends and enforces all rules and regulations in the Community Activity Center.
    • Adheres to the personnel, safety, and department policies and procedures.
    • Assists other coworkers as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
    • CPR/First Aid/AED certifications are required within 60 days of hire date.
    • Must have a valid state issued drivers license and driving record must be in compliance with Town policy.

    • Must be able to talk, see, hear, read, and work in adverse environmental conditions.
    • Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities to include running, kneeling, bending, twisting, dragging, pushing, pulling, regularly lifting to 50 lbs. of various recreational and athletic equipment, and occasionally lifting up to 110 lbs. of various recreational and athletic equipment.
