- Veterinary Technician with a license/registration in good standing.
- 3 or more years experience as a RVT/LVT.
- Excellent technical skills and genuinely enjoys working with animals, even when they are having the worst…day…ever.
- Relishes working cooperatively with clients and teammates to compassionately care for our furry friends.
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient during a medical crisis.
- Assist the doctors in medical, surgical, and dental procedures; prepare and monitor patients for anesthetic procedures.
- Counsel clients on various aspects of animal care, preventative health, treatment plans, and/or procedures.
- Digital radiography and digital dental x-ray.
- Microscopy, including prep and reading of skin and ear cytology, blood smears, and conducting urinalyses.
- Technical procedures such as drug calculations, venipuncture, EKGs, ocular testing, medication administration, cold laser therapy, and more.
