Perform ultrasound procedures following the SPUH ultrasound scanning protocol appropriate to the ages of the patients.
Prepare patient for ultrasound procedure - this includes proper clothing, educating patient and family - if pediatric patient ease fears.
Assist Radiologist to obtain a diagnosis.
Determine when a patient should be held until their physician is contacted with results of the procedure.
Accurately record a complete technologist note to include all pertinent information concerning the exam procedure.
