Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Location: Portland, ME 04102 Duration: 6 Months+ contract (possibility of extension) Schedule Details: 48 hours preferred. Call once per month. Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36. Weekend Hours: 36/48 preferred (unless otherwise noted). Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift. Position Information: Role: RRT Respiratory Therapist. Specialty: Respiratory Therapy. Years of Experience: 3+. Float Requirements: As RRT, some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and ED required, as well as adult acute and critical care. Education & Certifications Required: Required Certifications: BLS required. ACLS preferred. NRP for NICU. RRT required. Unit Information: Number of Beds: Varied depending on daily assignments, cover entire facility with a team of 14–16 RRT. Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, Critical 1:8. Equipment: Drager V500 and VN500. Hamilton T1 and C1. Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line. Airvo, Vapotherm. EMR: EPIC. Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: Tertiary, teaching hospital experience. Level 1 trauma. Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU. Cardiothoracic. Type of Patients on Unit: Varied. Personality Fit: Flexible. Team player. Great communication skills. Dress Code: Scrub Color: Provided or flexible. Any Unacceptable Attire: N/A.
