Position Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM) – Nursing Home
Location: Camden, ME 04843
Compensation:
Local Pay Rate: $45 – $55/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
5 Days per Week
8-Hour Shifts (Approximately 40 hours/week)
Shift Options:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM) to lead daily nursing operations within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, supervising clinical staff, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
Oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit
Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Ensure delivery of high-quality care in accordance with clinical standards
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams
Monitor patient conditions and ensure timely interventions
Conduct routine rounds and address resident/family concerns
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling needs
Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives
Provide staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure & Certifications:
Active RN License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
ACLS Certification (Preferred)
COVID-19 Vaccination (Required)
Experience:
1–2 years of nursing experience (Required)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience (Strongly Preferred)
