What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients with post-surgical and medical conditions, including COPD, CHF, PNA, DVT/PE, and more
  • Manage IVs, drains, Foley catheters, NG and PEG tubes, and wound care
  • Administer medications and titrating gtts, including Heparin and IVIG, as needed
  • Perform peripheral blood draws and support patient monitoring and assessment
  • Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system
  • Collaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, RTs, and other healthcare team members
  • Float within scope to different hospital units as required, ensuring patient safety and quality care
What You Need
Required:
  • Valid RN license in State
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in Med/Surg/Telemetry with post-op and medical patient care
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
  • Experience with telemetry, IV management, tubes/drains, and medication administration

Preferred:
  • Experience with Meditech EMR and hospital equipment
  • Experience with patient assessment and complex care management
