Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNSUP)

Location: Camden, ME

Duration: 14 Weeks Contract

Shift: Day Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Hours: 42.5 Hours/Week | 40 Hour Guarantee
5 Days per Week

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNSUP) to oversee nursing operations in a long-term care setting. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and maintaining quality care delivery during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities on assigned shift
• Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards
• Oversee nursing staff performance and provide guidance as needed
• Monitor patient conditions and ensure timely escalation of concerns
• Support care planning and interdisciplinary communication
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations
• Review and support accurate clinical documentation and reporting
• Assist with staffing coordination and shift coverage needs
• Respond to clinical emergencies and provide leadership during critical situations
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic care environment
• Ensure proper communication between nursing teams and management
• Monitor infection control, safety, and quality assurance practices

Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills required
• Ability to manage multiple staff and patient care priorities required
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards, safety, and compliance regulations required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment required
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills required
• Commitment to quality patient care and team collaboration required

Preferred:
• Prior experience in nursing supervision or leadership role preferred
• Strong clinical background in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Experience in documentation and care coordination preferred
