Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor)

Location:Camden, ME
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week (40-Hour Guarantee)

Job Overview

A healthcare facility in Maine is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) to lead and coordinate nursing operations during assigned shifts. The RN Supervisor will oversee clinical staff, support patient care delivery, maintain compliance with healthcare standards, and ensure a safe and efficient care environment.

This opportunity is ideal for a nurse leader with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and prior supervisory experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations during assigned shifts
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff
  • Monitor patient conditions and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
  • Support interdisciplinary care planning and team communication
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Review and support accurate clinical documentation and reporting
  • Assist with staffing coordination and shift coverage needs
  • Respond effectively to clinical emergencies and urgent patient situations
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and therapeutic care environment
  • Promote effective communication between nursing teams and leadership
  • Monitor infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance practices

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Previous nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong clinical background in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong understanding of nursing standards, safety practices, and compliance regulations
  • Experience with clinical documentation and care coordination preferred
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to quality patient care and collaborative teamwork
