We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Stepdown/PCU assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a cardiovascular stepdown environment and may float to comparable units caring for similar patient populations.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown/PCU patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to facility protocols
Float to comparable units as needed to support patient care operations
Requirements
Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments required
Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience required
PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred
Current Ohio RN License or Compact State License required at submission
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications required (AHA preferred)
Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills required
