Your future role at a glance:

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Facility: Washington Township Schools Spring Mill Elementary

Department: Wellness Preventative Care

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Deliver dedicated, one-on-one clinical care to a student with a tracheostomy, ensuring their safety, comfort, and continuous monitoring throughout the school day.
  • Implement and adapt personalized care plans by tracking, recording, and communicating vital health changes to guarantee seamless, high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate the multidisciplinary care team to align physicians, specialists, and school staff, ensuring the student receives fully integrated and well-supported care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders with precision and empathy, maintaining strict adherence to clinical safety protocols.
  • Manage proactive transition and discharge planning alongside the healthcare team to set the student up for long-term health and academic success.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • BSN preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred
