Registered Nurse (RN) – Treatment Nurse

Full-Time | Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation | Northport, AL

Base Pay: $31.00-$40.40 per hour (based on experience)

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Treatment Nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about wound care, skin integrity, and providing exceptional clinical care to residents in a long-term care setting.

As an RN Treatment Nurse, you will assess, plan, and provide specialized treatments while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to promote healing and improve resident outcomes.

Registered Nurse (RN) Treatment Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive skin and wound assessments.
• Provide wound care and specialized treatments according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Monitor and document resident progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate electronic nursing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical skills.
• Experience in wound care, treatment nursing, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Wound Care Certification is a plus but not required.
