Shift: Day Shift | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Schedule: 3x12 | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend (As Needed), No On-Call, No Float (Unless Taking Babies on Postpartum)
Pay Range: $57-$62/hr.
Required Experience
Minimum three (3) years of Mother Baby experience.
Experience caring for newborns.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN).
Experience caring for Level II Special Care Nursery patients (32 weeks and above).
Education
Required
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Required Certifications & Licensure
New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The RN plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs, develops individualized plans of care, performs therapeutic nursing interventions, manages patient care, and supports evidence-based nursing practice.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
Manage the care of assigned patients.
Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support innovations in care delivery.
Provide patient-centered care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
