Position Overview
The Infusion RN will provide skilled nursing care in a home setting, specializing in infusion therapies and line care. This role requires strong clinical skills, independence, and a patient-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV therapies including antibiotics, TPN, and IVIG
- Perform skilled nursing care including G-tube care and management
- Draw and process lab specimens
- Perform sterile dressing changes
- Assess patient condition and monitor for adverse reactions
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans
- Accurately document all care provided
Line Access Experience Required
- Peripheral IV (PIV) insertion and management
- PICC line care and maintenance
- Midline catheter care
- Port-a-cath access and deaccess
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 1–2 years infusion or home health experience preferred
- Proficient in IV therapy and vascular access
- Experience with IV antibiotics, TPN, and IVIG required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
