Vista Senior Living Management is building our Vista Senior Flex Team – a PRN float pool supporting every community in our Northeast Ohio network – and we are seeking Nurses (RN or LPN) to join us!

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), PRN


As a member of the Vista Senior Flex Team, you are not tied to one building. You pick up open shifts across our communities based on your availability, including:

  • Maple Ridge Senior Living – Willoughby, OH
  • Eden Vista Stow – Stow, OH
  • Our newly acquired communities in the Strongsville and Beachwood areas

This is a PRN (as-needed) role built for flexibility. You choose the shifts that fit your schedule, work in a variety of settings, and get to know teams and residents across the Vista network.


Job Description

  • Pick up open nursing shifts at any Vista community in the Northeast Ohio region based on posted needs and your availability.
  • Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect resident care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, prevention, and evaluation.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and perform other drug administration.
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants and caregivers on shift.
  • Communicate changes in resident clinical condition with the physician, nursing supervisor, and family.
  • Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
  • Maintain and update effective service plans and supervise the care staff at the assigned community.
  • Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and escalate to community leadership as appropriate.
  • Become familiar with the emergency equipment and procedures at each community you serve.
  • Attend required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers at every location.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current State of Ohio license in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program – new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in long-term care, Assisted Living, or Memory Care preferred, not required.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to multiple communities.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum number of shifts per month (discussed at interview).
  • Able to pass a background check and any pre-employment screening required by state regulation.
