- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment and recognize rhythm changes.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
