Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med | Surg
Location: Lafayette, LA
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Shift: Nights - 7pm-7am, 3 x 12s
Requirements:
- Active State RN License or Multi-State Compact License
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 years of Med Surg experience
Job Description:
- Fulfils the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
- Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
- Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
- Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
- Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
