We are currently seeking compassionate Registered Nurses RNsto join our team Our employees enjoy competitive pay and benefits while supporting and encouraging one another in our day-to-day tasks.Weekend Night Shift 6pm-6amESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure safety for all residents.Assess and document the residents condition and nursing need.Accurately and promptly implement physicians orders.Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.Supervise and direct LPNs LVNs and CNAs.Administer medications start IVs and perform treatments for residents.Keep residents environment clean and free of clutter.Obtain resident vital signs.Answer resident call lights and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.Follow safetyinfection control precautions.Follow hand-washing procedures during your daily duties.Assist with meal tray set-up and assist with resident meals as needed. Ensure that all meals snacks and fluids are recorded.Document on flow sheets as directed.Assist in transporting residents to activities therapy etc.Report all complaints or grievances to the Nurse SupervisorDirector of NursingAdministrator or Social Worker.Immediately report all suspected incidents of abuse to the Abuse Coordinator.Immediately report all incidentsaccidents to your Nurse Supervisor no matter how minor they may be.Perform other tasks as assigned.Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Educational Requirements and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.Valid RN license in the state of AlabamaValid CPR certificationMinimum one year nursing experience preferred.Minimum one year SNF experience highly preferred.Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work cooperatively as a member of a team.Ability to work effectively with the residents their family members and at all levels of the facility.Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.Ability to maintain confidentiality.aWe are seeking a full-time RN for the evening shift.
