Schedule: 12 - 24 hours per week (2 shifts per week) | 6:00pm - 6:30am
Pay Range: $39.48 - $46.91/hr.(this rate is inclusive of the $3.40/hr. Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through approved rate; current approval through September 30, 2026)
Shift Premium's:  Night (11:00 pm-6:59 am) $2.00, Weekend (Fri 11:00 pm-Sun 10:59 pm) $0.50

What You’ll Do:
The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a supportive and respectful environment. Oversight of the daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our community.

Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver Direct Nursing Care – Administer medications, perform treatments, monitor vital signs and wound care.
  • Conduct Health Assessments – Evaluate residents and report changes in condition to the clinical team.
  • Monitor and Adjust Care Plans – Observe residents for adverse reactions or side effects and update care plans accordingly.
  • Coordinate Interdisciplinary Care – Work with teams to enhance residents’ quality of life.
  • Supervise and Mentor Staff – Oversee nursing assistants and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Document Resident Care – Complete daily and monthly records accurately, reflecting care provided and resident responses.
  • Manage Admissions and Discharges – Perform admission and discharge procedures as directed.
  • Maintain Medical Records – Keep accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Ensure Safety and Infection Control – Follow all protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Prevent Spread of Illness – Adhere to proper infection control procedures at all times.
  • Engage in Ongoing Education – Maintain certifications and stay current with best practices.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, required.
  • Current CPR certification or BLS certification, required.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly / geriatric care, preferred.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment. 
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects, weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
