VCU Health at The Fredericksburg Adult Multispecialty Clinic is a dynamic multispecialty clinic primarily focused on surgical services. We provide care to individuals in Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas including Northern Virginia and the Northern Neck.
Providers treat adult patients in the areas of cardiac surgery, colon and rectal surgery, advanced heart failure, adult congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology, hepatology with a focus on treatment of hepatitis, ostomy care, urology, liver and kidney transplant, and transplant surgery. In addition, we perform walk-in lab services for adult VCU patients.
The engaging clinical team consists of various skill sets and scopes of practice to enhance patient outcomes and experiences, including RNs, LPNs, CMAs. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 - 4:30 PM. Staff work 5 - 8-hour shifts per week. We are a growing clinic that is adding more providers in our current specialties with the potential of adding more specialties.

This job provides direction, education, and assumes leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
This job delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care. This job safely administers prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions.

All registered nurses without a Bachelors degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an approved RN to BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date unless grandfathered under previous requirements.
