Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Location: Ocala, FL 34474
Pay Range: $32–$48/hour
Schedule: Night Shift | Rotating Weekends
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Emergency Department team in Ocala, FL. This role is ideal for nurses with strong clinical experience who excel in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a wide range of conditions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Respond effectively to critical and trauma situations
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED required)
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license required
Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
BLS certification within 30 days of hire
ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire
ENPC, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and TNCC (or TNCC Instructor) within 6 months of hire
Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
