The RN, Director of Health Services (DHS) provides clinical leadership across two nearby senior living communities-Northern Oaks Place and Southern Oaks Place. This role is responsible for overseeing all health services operations to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, and person-centered care.
The DHS leads clinical teams at both locations, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, maintaining strong clinical systems, and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment for staff, residents, and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for both Northern Oaks Place and Southern Oaks Place
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and individualized resident care
- Oversee assessments, care planning, and service delivery
- Manage and monitor medication administration systems
- Lead infection control and prevention practices
- Ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and caregiving staff at both sites
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providers, residents, and families
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and clinical training across both communities
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in MN
- Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical systems, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to effectively manage operations across multiple locations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care
