Inova Health is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Clinical Coordinator (Supervisor) for our Fairfax Medical Campus. Schedule is 4x10 shifts Monday-Friday with overnight, weekend, and holiday on-call shifts required.

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Clinical Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:

Provides a safe and therapeutic environment by collaborating with the Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and other relevant providers. Provides supervision, direction, and guidance to cross-functional team members regarding case management, workflow, and serves as a resource, preceptor, and mentor.

The Interventional Radiology department serves over 5,000 patients each year, both inpatient and outpatient, adult and pediatric population, from every patient care-oriented service line on the campus. Our multi-disciplinary team of Interventional Radiologists, Neurosurgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Nurses, and Technologists provides excellent patient care across multiple modalities including Body IR, Peripheral Vascular, Neuro Interventional, and Aortic Endovascular.

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Clinical Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:

Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Clinical Coordinator Qualifications:

Minimum: Five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse working in a critical care hospital unit or interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab; or five years of interventional radiology experience. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience. RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RNCertifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiologist (RCES), RTRCV, RTRVI, RTRCI unless a graduate of an accredited school of nursing required at start.

Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Clinical Coordinator Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or interventional radiology experience
