Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab , Quick Offer
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Shift: 7am to 5:30pm four days a week, 10 hour days alternating. Call coverage required for weeknights, weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients before their procedure.
- Administering medications.
- Documenting vital signs, assessments, and changes is status.
- Assisting with imaging.
- Monitoring the patient during the procedure.
- Responding to emergencies- cath lab nurses are critical care nurses!
- Providing education and support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
Requirements:
- BLS
- ACLS
- LA RN License or compact state license
- 2 Yr of recent experience as a Cath Lab nurse.
