PRN, supplemental. Variable 6,8,10, or 12 hour shifts available. Minimum of 24 hours every 6 weeks for PRN commitment

Make a Difference
The cardiac surgical PACU nurse is responsible for the immediate postoperative care of patients who have undergone cardiac surgery. Their role includes monitoring vital signs, managing pain, ensuring the stability of the patient"s condition, and addressing any complications that may arise. They also provide support and education to patients and their families about postoperative care and recovery. Additionally, they collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth transition from the PACU to the next phase of recovery.

Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.
