A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the organization for another role within the past 24 months.

Where You'll Work

The Throughput Unit provides short-term care for patients who have been admitted and are awaiting placement in an inpatient unit. This team delivers inpatient-level care while supporting hospital throughput and patient flow-ensuring a safe, seamless transition to the appropriate level of care.

We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • BSN required (or related bachelor's degree with 2 years of nursing experience); MSN preferred

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year for Adult Critical Care/ED (as applicable)

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year for ED, PICU, NICU, and other designated areas (per unit guidelines)

  • Nationally recognized nursing specialty certification required within 1 year (as applicable)

  • Partner with the Nurse Manager to lead unit operations, support staff development, and drive high-quality, patient-centered care through performance standards, education, and shared governance

  • Foster a safe, collaborative care environment by coordinating across disciplines, supporting patient flow, resolving challenges, and ensuring best practices in clinical care delivery
