Registered Nurse (RN) – Admissions Nurse

Full-Time | Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation | Northport, AL

Base Pay: $31.00-$40.40 per hour (based on experience)

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Admissions Nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. If you enjoy building relationships, coordinating resident care, and ensuring a positive admission experience, we'd love to meet you.

As an Admissions RN, you'll play a key role in welcoming new residents, completing comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinating admissions, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives exceptional care from day one.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nursing admission assessments.
• Coordinate the admission process with residents, families, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
• Review physician orders and initiate appropriate nursing care.
• Develop and communicate resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate electronic nursing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Promote a smooth, compassionate transition into our long-term care and rehabilitation community.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital admissions, or case management is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and families.
