Overview
Our Cardiac Medical Unit is a 42-bed unit, concentrating on Cardiac Telemetry. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and provide unparalleled care to predominantly cardiac patients requiring treatment for chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, or other various cardiac arrhythmias. In addition, this unit will further provide care to a variety of medical patients with pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical patients as well. Our dedicated team of nursing and ancillary staff provide patient-centered care to support each specialized patients recovery with the goal of reaching optimal patient outcomes for all.
Responsibilities
Plans, coordinates, and directs quality, compassionate care by maintaining standards of professional nursing practice and creating positive therapeutic relationships with patients/families.
