Qualifications and Skills
Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license required
Strong investigative mindset: critical thinking, research/analysis, and decision-making
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce professional technical reports/letters
Comfortable with technology: databases, portals, email, and Microsoft Office
Strong organization, time management, and documentation accuracy
Ability to work on-site in Phoenix and meet local/in-person requirements (including in-person interview availability)
Responsibilities
Conduct timely, thorough quality-of-care investigations involving member and systemic concerns
Review clinical records and documentation; perform medical chart review to support allegation review and substantiation
Develop and issue remediation actions and/or Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and track completion
Request and organize documentation needed to support investigations; maintain comprehensive case files
Upload investigative documents and case materials to the designated QMS/portal and ensure completeness
Make appropriate referrals to oversight and regulatory agencies; escalate trend concerns to leadership
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders; document all case activity and outcomes
Manage priorities across multiple investigations while meeting deadlines and quality standards
