How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Serve as the go-to expert in patient safety, quality indicators, and evidence-based practice (EBP) to directly elevate care standards and patient outcomes.

  • Partner with clinical leaders to coach staff during unit rounds, identifying competency gaps and building tailored plans for professional growth.

  • Aggregate and interpret patient safety and nursing quality data, transforming insights into actionable strategies that improve clinical practice.

  • Guide the implementation of EBP projects and analyze research outcomes to modernize unit-level order sets and clinical guidelines.

  • Act as a trusted resource and collaborative ally for clinical leadership to drive continuous, organization-wide improvement.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience:

  • 2 years applicable experience required.
  • 5 years preferred.
