Unit Information:
" Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.
" High acuity of PCU and small amount of med surg
Schedule:
*If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
"18J is a 36 bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care.
-Pediatric patients are cared for on this unit but are extremely rare and would likely be cared for by perm staff. Pediatric experience is NOT required to be agency RN here.
Required: High acuity PCU patient experience
-Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls

" B450 monitors Client telemetry system.
" Bladder Scanner.
" Alaris pumps.
" Stryker beds.
" Continuous Bladder Irrigation
" PCA Pumps
Requirements:
" 2 years of oncology experience preferred, but NOT REQUIRED
" Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ACLS & NIH
" Ratio: 1:4-5 Med Surg Telemetry
" Ratio: 1:3 PCU
" Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
" Previous travel experience preferred.
