Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience; CVA, TIA, and critical care skills needed

What Youll Do:

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a 6-bed PCU unit
Manage patient treatments including CVI, TIA, and post-stroke care
Administer medications including drip titrations (Levophed, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin)
Monitor and manage IV lines, arterial lines, and feeding tubes
Collaborate with the healthcare team and support staff for patient care plans
Perform and pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and compliance adherence

What You Need:

Valid RN license in Louisiana or willing to obtain
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience in a similar setting
Proficiency with NIHSS, IV management, and critical care procedures
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
